Edu Danesi

Originally from Sao Paulo in Brazil, Edu Danesi has lived and worked in Belgium since 1996.

A few years after graduating from the photography school in the city of Brussels, the photographer converted to painting.
Self-taught, he works several techniques such as painting, collage, drawing, graffiti and stencils on different supports such as canvas, wood, metal, on parts of the body or simply walls. “The important thing is that the image speaks, that it conveys something, an emotion,” he says.
And it is this mixture between the vision of the photographer and the work of the painter, with a touch of southern blood that gives a cocktail of images full of color, sensuality, poetry, provocation and positivity. A cocktail full of emotions
