Made of black steel, this sculpture recreates Audrey Hepburn’s face through lines and stripes that subtly and dynamically form her portrait.
interplay of perspectives and cutouts brings this representation to life, capturing the timeless elegance of the actress, known for her iconic roles in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Sabrina, as well as her humanitarian commitment.
This work is a continuation of Best Friends, in which Laurence also explores iconic figures using industrial materials.
Through these interplays of lines and shapes, she successfully transforms familiar faces into contemporary works that are both aesthetic and symbolic, paying homage to cinema legends while adding a modern and personal touch.
